| Jim Hammack and Janet Myder Hammack Jim Hammack and Janet Myder Hammack met in 1997 through their love of photography and have been photographing together ever since. Both enjoy a variety of subjects such as travel, nature and local scenes, as may be seen in their images of national parks, Washington sites and close ups of flowers. Jim and Janet also have their own favorite subjects, and their skills and interests in other areas compliment each other. Jim’s choice of subjects is eclectic. He enjoys using dramatic lighting and experimenting with a variety of in-camera manipulation techniques that allow him to achieve on film the effects that other photographers create in the darkroom or with computers. Images of water reflections and different views of familiar Washington monuments illustrate his talents. Janet is attracted to the graphic elements and special features found in architecture, as seen in her images of windows, some from Poland. She is also fascinated by texture that is found naturally or created, as depicted in her nature images and still life creations. Jim and Janet are long time members of the North Bethesda Camera Club (NBCC) and have served as officers of the club. They credit NBCC with helping them to gain a better understanding of photography, hone their skills and meet people who share their passion for photography…and yes, for bringing them together! For more information on NBCC, go to http://nbccmd.org. Jim and Janet thank you for viewing some of their favorite photos. Contact: Email: Hammackjc@hotmail.com Phone: 301-652-5752
